Covenant practitioners are faith practitioners.

God is faithful and His promises are sure. When faith is absolute, result is inevitable!

That is because it takes faith to convert God’s promises to covenant and God is a covenant keeping God.

Fear not. Fear is devil’s most lethal weapon against life of faith. It opens doors to other arsenals of the enemy and is a sign that a man has fallen away from God. The first sign of a fallen Adam was fear (Genesis 3:10).

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control (2 Tim.1:7)!

It takes faith and courage to enter God’s Promised Land.

MESSAGE: PRACTISING COVENANT

SCRIPTURE: Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Covenant is what separates believers from charlatans.

That is because God faithfully commits to His covenant, across generations!

For every covenant practising son of God, you are walking in sure promises of God sealed under an oath.

You are literally walking in the light and should never grope in darkness. In fact, covenant with God makes you the light of the world, a part of the city built on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14-15.)

The only time darkness can limit a son of God is when such only professes covenant without practising it.

Practicing covenant with God makes you a highflier in life, soaring like an eagle.

In Genesis 12, God made a covenant with Abram. A chapter after, in Genesis 13, Abram has risen above his frustrated background and had become very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. God’s covenant with Abram (an old childless man and his post-menopausal wife) has resulted in a life of exploits.

Welcome to 2024, our Year of Covenant Blessings!

As a believing Christian, sharing intimate relationship with God, we have access to His greater blessings through covenants. Covenant blessing is a platform God ensures that His promises – for the provision of good and protection from evil- are safely delivered to every believer.

Enjoying God’s blessings however is not automatic. That is why, though mankind is spiritually blessed by God, not everyman is manifesting that blessing.

A major way God ensures a believer’s victory in life is through the mystery of covenant. Bible teaches that God is a promise giving and a covenant keeping one.

Walking in covenant provides strength, succour, and shield for those who abide in Christ

You are not always in control of your life circumstances, but you are in charge of your reaction.

Everything changes- society changes, technology evolves, even you undergo change.

As inevitable as change is, a major human problem is accepting change.

That is because it challenges the status quo and pushes us out of our comfort zones.

Learning to embrace change is an important skill to enjoy a purposeful life.

If nothing ever changed, there would be no such things as butterflies. Perhaps butterfly is a proof that you can go through a great deal of changes and still become something beautiful.

SCRIPTURE: 2 Pet. 3:9 (KJV) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Bible Theologians see Bible has history of God’s walk with man from eternal past to eternal future.

A dispensation is a period during which man is tested in respect to his obedience to some specific revelation of the will of God. Walking with God in all these dispensations requires faith (Hebrews 11:6).

In this series, we will see how God’s demand for spiritual maturity leads to strengthening of faith which continuously is watered by God’s faithfulness demonstrated through His unending grace.

Dispensationalism is God’s progressive walk with man.

FOCUS OF SERIES

Dispensationalists understand the Bible to be organized into seven dispensations:

Innocence (Genesis 1:1–3:7)
Conscience (Genesis 3:7–8:22)
Human Government (Genesis 9:1–11:32)

Christianity is an invitation to experience the supernatural. To experience the supernatural is natural to those who have personal encounter with God. That is because everything about God is supernatural.

Yet only those who seek the supernatural mostly experience it.

Such life is reserved for those who seek God and His kingdom.

Yes, supernatural life is reserved for God’s seekers. That is because the supernatural life is not made possible by human might or power but is a result of the work of The Holy Spirit.

It takes partnership with the Holy Spirit to enjoy a supernatural life.

Christianity started with a dead body brought back to life.

The backbone of Christianity is the power of resurrection. Without it, Christianity will be another religion built upon a good man. Jesus Christ was not just a great prophet or man, He is the Messiah, the Son of God. His resurrection predicted thousands of years before it happened proves that all God’s promises will come to pass. Resurrection is a unique foundation, separating Christianity from other religions.

The resurrection is the real deal. If Christ be not risen, then our faith is in vain!

SCRIPTURE: Psalm 84:11-12 (KJV) For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give GRACE and GLORY: No GOOD THING will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. 12 Lord Almighty blessed is the one who trusts in you.

We started 2023 with a prophetic revelation of Grace and Glory.

Grace is an undeserved and unmerited act of God, yet freely given to all willing to receive (Eph. 2:8-9)!

God’s glory is the manifestation of God’s essence and presence. It is the manifestation of His personality, splendour, and majesty. God's glory is the expression of His grace, joy, peace, faith, and love.

God displays His glory through His goodness. God will give Grace and Glory. That is His nature!

Will you receive? That is the billion-dollar question of faith!

Your ability to enjoy God’s goodness – an act of His Grace and Glory- is proportional to your understanding of God’s walking with man in the dispensation of Grace (Church’s age).

The grace of God is sufficient for all circumstances and situation- gain and loss, victory and failure, family, career, business, etc. “All needful grace will God bestow.” Whatever God calls you to do, His grace is sufficient!

Good news is that the grace of God will not take you to where His glory will not follow.

MESSAGE: LIVING IN THE SPIRIT (Impartation Series)

SUMMARY:

Ephesians 5:18 (NIV): Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit.

Every believer is anointed but not every believer is living in the overflow of the anointing.

While the anointing is deposited in every believer as an act of God’s grace, living in the overflow demands acts of faith (in response to God’s grace.)

A great responsibility of Christianity is living actively in the spirit.

That is because man is a spiritual being having temporary physical experience on earth.

While on earth, our two natures, flesh, and the Spirit, will continue to struggle for control.

Even though the old flesh nature never gives up, we can live with confident assurance that the Holy Spirit is stronger. All it takes is to work out our salvation by putting the truth of our new life in Christ into practice. (Philippians 2:12-13).

A Christian’s life is meant to be one willing to follow the Holy Spirit in complete obedience.

Living in the flesh naturally quenches the Holy Spirit.

A person cannot live a genuine Christian’s life unless the Holy Spirit is in constant control.

Following the Holy Spirit however bears fruits if done out of love rather than legalistic obedience done from fear of retribution.

Good news is, living in the spirit brings peace and joy beyond human understanding. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Living in the Spirit helps believers to bear the “fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22-23).

When we are living or “walking in the Spirit” we do not only activate the spirit of God deposited in us at salvation, but we also live to enjoy an overflow.

Intimacy with Holy Spirit makes you a consecrated vessels bearing a life of God. Living in the spirit makes you a vessel Holy Spirit flows in and through, making you a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.

MESSAGE: A Call to Consecration

SUMMARY:

Joshua 3:5 (NIV) Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.”

The call to consecration precedes the outpouring of glory!

The glorious God is forever holy.

For you to enjoy His glorious presence, you need to consecrate yourself.

To consecrate means to separate yourself from all unholy thoughts and actions.

To consecrate means to make self sacred, especially by committing to the service of God.

This requires a conscious decision to dedicate your soul, mind, heart, and body to God.

"Only you" can make the decision to consecrate yourself to God.

Since "only God" has the power to transform a human into something sacred, you need empowerment of the Holy Spirit to align yourself to God. "Only He - The Holy Spirit" can help you to separate self from all evil, contesting and opposing your life of glory in the Lord.

Only He can clean you of everything competing with God as a priority in your life. A call to consecration is a call to partnership with the Holy Spirit and dedication to godly service.

God wants to fill you up as His vessel of glory!

That is why you need to consecrate yourself for God will not share His glory with any idol in your life. A call to consecration is a call to God and an invitation to dwell in His glory.
