According to the prophetic theme for this year of "Elevation", it is our "Season to Soar" into the heavenly realm, far above all demonic powers and principalities and every earthly limitations. The realisation of that prophecy demands a spiritual push into the next levels of grace and glory, capable of sustaining us in our high places in life (Habakuk 3:2-19, Haggai 2:1-9.)
For many years, the Lord has been shifting many things in the supernatural realm. Like Mother Eagle, the Lord has been preparing His children for the year of elevation.
In the recent past, many have suffered exposure to thorns of awakening that the Mother Eagle herself planted to awaken her children from their comfort zone.
“ But those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31"
Are you waiting on the Lord for this hour?”
Are you seeking sufficient strength to do exploits in this year of elevation?
The Reason for Waiting upon The Lord?
"If thou losest courage in the day of trouble, thy strength is small. Prov.24:10 "
The purpose of waiting upon the Lord is to renew our strength.
Every eagle is created to soar whatever the condition of the environment or its situation.
All it needs to soar is strength. The question of flight is a question of strength.
Every eagle needs adequate strength to take victorious flight around.
No matter how great, new or expensive a car is, it needs strength (the power) to drive.
Every “More Than Conqueror” believer needs fresh strength from the Lord to prevail over the earthly struggle (Force of Gravity) that operates in the ground level where we live.
Yet, though we live in this world, we are not of this world.
We are heavenly people. We are eagles, created to soar both in fight and flight seasons.
All we need to do, like eagles, in order to soar is to renew our strength always.
The Blessing of Waiting upon the Lord
1) Walk and not faint (Heb. 11:1; Heb.6:12-15)
It takes faith to walk with the Lord. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him in any way. Faith is the spiritual means to connect and relate with God.
2) Run and not be weary (James 1:2-4; Heb. 10:36)
It is not just enough to walk with the Lord in faith. We need to endure, persist and persevere in our walk with the Lord in order to enjoy His promise. Abraham- the Father of Faith - waited for 25 years to enjoy the manifestation of God’s promise ( Rom 4: 17-24)
You also need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive promise
3) Mount up with wings like eagles (Zech.4:6)
It takes the power of God operating in your life to fly. It will not be by your human power or strength alone to fly, you will need the supernatural power of Holy Spirit. Just like your car needs the energy from petroleum to drive. Like the psalmist rightly wrote, when the Lord takes over the situation of Zion (the Church), we will marvel just like dreamers (Psalm 126.)
Mounting up as an eagle
The purpose of gaining strength and stamina in the presence of the Lord is to mount up like an eagle. That is talking about experiencing the glory of the Lord.
Just like Moses prayed to see God's glory after gaining the assurance of God's presence, the stamina you develop in God's presence is to lead a glorious life. It is left now for you to maximize the environment of faith in the Church and within your small group fellowship to prepare for a life of flight.
Soar...
Many faithful shall witness the greatest manifestation of His presence, power and provision.
God is flinging open the floodgates of heaven for His remnant in all nations (1 Corinthians 2:9).
This year, God is pushing His children to soar.
No where else can you gain power to wait on the Lord like in a small group of like minded believers, committed to sharing intimate relationship with God and enjoying commitment to each other. As eagles gather only with eagles, only the gathering of such faithful, faith- filled people can bring out the eagle potential in you.
