Join CIC Small Groups

Updated: Aug 10, 2020

Time to take your next steps of faith.

So you have been hoping to grow in faith and do great exploits in the Lord?

Now is the time and this year is your year of exploits. Just find a small group aspiring to achieve same feat like you and join it for a semester or two. That is the way forward...

It begins with the Knowledge of the Lord

“ the people who do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. Daniel 11:32b”

Every promise of God requires a person taking responsibility to fulfill it.

Position yourself for great exploits this year.

Know God. Be strong. Do exploits (Dan.11:32)!

Put godly passion foremost in your heart.

Strive to know God (intimate relationship) rather than learning about God (religion).

Grow in your relationship with Him rather than in transactional desire to use God to get things.

If you can connect to God and His body in communion and fellowship, all your heart desires shall automatically be met. That is a scriptural promise that cannot be broken (Psalm 37:4; Matt. 6:33).

Grow in your relationship with the Trinity. Decide to honour God more with your time and other resources. Decide to operate a higher level of communion and commitment with God this year.

· Let your relationship fire you up to come to His presence with great expectation.

· Come regularly and punctually to your group meeting and be committed to the group activities

Be Strong

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31”

Every eagle is created to soar whatever the condition of the environment or its situation.

All it needs to soar is strength.

No matter how great, new or expensive a car is, it needs strength (the power) to drive.

Every “More Than Conqueror” believer needs fresh strength from the Lord to prevail over the earthly struggle that operates in the ground level where we live. The purpose of waiting upon the Lord is to renew your strength.

Every time you are fasting, praying and praising, be conscious that you are conducting the exercise to grow in spiritual strength. Same thing when you are studying and meditating the Word of God. Beware you are feeding for strength. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God!

Every athlete and sportsman knows the importance of good diet in building stamina.

Do Exploits

“ For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. Rom 2:13”

The purpose of gaining strength is to do exploits. Faith without work is dead!

The miracle of the promise of God reveals itself in doing. The whole promises in the Bible remain useless for the person who will not work. Such promises work only for those who will work them out (Deuteronomy 2:24).

This year is a year to walk and work in faith with the Lord, all the way.

Get Inspired

To keep your appointment with destiny this year, CIC has amassed great materials to accompany you in a victory ride. All you have to do is avail yourself of these resources.

Make your relationship with God a very important priority this year.

Take your fellowship with your small group very serious.

And last but not the least, take yourself very serious. Live on purpose!

Your life is what you make it, by the grace of God. Take the responsibility to move forward and possess your future. Take your next step of faith today.
